Description
Stacey “JB” Townsend is the founder of Speaklyfe Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting women and couples struggling with fertility challenges. She is a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden (Upper Marlboro, MD) receiving extraordinaire pastoral direction from Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr., and First Lady Trina Jenkins. Through her ministry service, Stacey has had the honor of serving as the Chaplin for Abraham’s Promise Sisters of Hannah Support Group Ministry for ten years interceding and encouraging women who have encountered the hardship of infertility, and celebrated women who were able to conquer infertility and experience the joy of growing their families. Through prayer, support and love from the beautiful women in the Sisters of Hannah ministry, Divine Discipleship for Sisters, and Sisters for Your Journey ministries, and her close circle of family and friends, she has received endless support. She continues to raise awareness about the sensitive topic of infertility and through her passion to speak life, she speaks truth about her spiritual warfare journey with infertility as well as her triumph. Stacey’s purpose is to encourage women and couples who may feel alone and may be suffering quietly due to the heartfelt challenges of infertility.
Stacey has been married to the love of her life, Anthony Townsend Jr., for 28 years and they both share a passion for speaking life to individuals faced with the unspoken word surrounding infertility.
Stacey is a native of Boston Massachusetts and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management from Bowie State University (Bowie, Maryland). She has worked in the Personnel Security arena for several years and currently resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
